Melvin co-founded Soul Tree with Alok in 2009, after completing his MBA at the University of Oxford. Between 1995 and 2007 he headed Marketing and Sales for his family's poultry genetics business in India, covering all of South Asia and the Middle East. A passion for wine, especially Indian wine, and the desire to change the lives of grape farmers in his home town of Nasik saw him leave the lucrative world of genetics behind and into the world of wine. He lives in Solihull, near Birmingham, with his wife and son.

Alok met Melvin at Oxford in 2008 while completing his own MBA. He joined the Tata Group's automotive division in 1993, and since then worked in various positions handling and running operations in India and in the UK. A desire for new challenges and an ambition to directly influence the fortunes of Indian wine find him revelling in the wine industry. He lives in Solihull, near Birmingham, with his wife and two children.

Tony Kimberley is our Regional Manager for the Eastern Counties. Having worked with Alok at Tata and having a reputation for customer service and sales and marketing, Tony was the natural choice for the position. Having spent much of his working career in Automotive Management and Sales in the Norfolk Area Tony still lives near Norwich with his wife Wendy and 4 children.

Coming from an award winning sales career, Gorvinder is our Regional Manager for the West Midlands. With a strong and versatile background he has plenty of experience ranging from direct sales, business development and brand growth management. A passion for premium drinks and the excitement of introducing Indian wine to the world has seen this young entrepreneur join our already fantastic team. Gorvinder lives in Solihull, near Birmingham, with his family.
