Winemaker

The late M.P. Sharma was perhaps the most accomplished and experienced Indian winemaker of his day. An ex-professor of Chemistry he certainly knew his science, but what he was best at was combining that science with an art that came out of his passion for making delectable wines. Such was his love for his work that he spent about eighty percent of his waking hours at the winery carefully nurturing his pride and joy in the tanks and barrels.

Since M.P.Sharma's recent demise the mantle has been passed on to his protégé Sharad, whose team stays up to date with developments in the new and old worlds through visits to France and California, but who hone their art through a combination of what they’ve seen, the science they know, and their passion for creating distinctive wines.
